Natterson and Stuart have over 50 combined clinical and administrative years of experience wearing many hats in healthcare, which has given them a unique and valuable 360 degree viewpoint regarding the needs, concerns and perspectives of different stakeholders. Paul Natterson MD is the co-founder of Rxsolve Conflict, and a board certified cardiologist with more than 25 years of clinical practice. He has extensive experience in both hospital and medical staff leadership. Past positions have included Medical Staff President and Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and member of the Board of Directors at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. He has also served as President and Medical Director of Pacific Heart Institute, currently an 18 cardiologist private practice. His interest in conflict management and dispute resolution ultimately led to mediation training, including coursework at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University, as well as physician coaching training through SurgeonMasters based out of San Diego, CA.

Jeff Stuart MD, MBA is the co-founder of Rxsolve Conflict, and an experienced physician executive whose roles have included leadership of a private medical group, Medical Director and Board Member of multiple surgery centers, and 3 years as the Chief Medical Officer of Washington Healthcare System in Fremont, CA. His three decades of medical practice and leadership, including service as hospital CMO through the pandemic, have given him extensive experience in operational planning, creating communication strategies and mitigating conflict in high stress unpredictable settings.
Dr. Stuart has completed mediation training at the Center for Understanding in Conflict in Marin, CA, where he also participates in ongoing professional development for mediators. Through the High Conflict Institute in San Diego, CA, he has also completed training aimed at managing high-conflict people who blame and disrupt, and studied Professionalism at the Vanderbilt Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy. Currently, he is in the process of becoming an ICF certified coach through SurgeonMasters based out of San Diego. A board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Stuart also holds an MBA from The Wharton School.

Nicole Lance, JD serves as VP of Business and Legal. In 2020, after practicing law for 15 years, Nicole shifted professional gears to pursue her own passion for conflict management, specifically enhanced communication and decision-making. As an experienced certified family mediator, conflict coach, and Certified Senior Advisor, Nicole jumped at the opportunity to also join the RxSolve Conflict team, providing legal perspective and documentation, overseeing research, and handling business matters. Her unique blend of legal and operational expertise, personal insight, and commitment to RxC’s mission has made her an invaluable member of the team.
