PROCESS

1: INITIAL ASSESSMENT

  • Preliminary assessment to understand issues, impact, parties, ideas to move forward. 
  • Recommendations for how to address most pressing needs, typically focused on stabilizing relationships and restoring professional collaboration. 
  • Starting at 2 - 4+ hours on our end, depending upon participation, communication, complexity. 

2: FACILITATED DIALOGUE, COACHING & MEDIATION

With an initial assessment in hand, we act swiftly as circumstances dictate to strengthen communication, professionalism, and improve functionality through:

  • Facilitated or mediated conversations between groups or individuals; 
  • Individual or team coaching and mentorship; and/or
  • Guidance for medical staff or administrative leadership.   

3: STRENGTHENING THE FOUNDATION

After active issues are resolved - or independently, as a stand alone offering - we are available to help leadership put structures in place to effectively engage future conflict. This may include:

  • Medical staff bylaws and/or policy review and revision;
  • Physician/nurse/administrator training in practical communication and conflict tools;
  • New strategies and mechanisms for aligning teams with organizational priorities; and/or
  • Ongoing support.
